Secomak’s Summer Event Day was definitely one to remember.
We started with Race Across London, inspired by the hit TV show Race Across the World. Working in teams, we completed challenges and made our way across the city to reach the final destination. It was competitive, slightly chaotic and a good way to make sure everyone hit their step count for the day.
We then headed to Oche The Strand for lunch and our annual company update presentation. At Secomak, we believe it is important that everyone understands what is happening across the wider business, regardless of their role or department.
The presentation covered recent customer projects, site installations, exhibitions, engineering developments and the work being carried out across our sales and marketing teams. It also gave us the opportunity to introduce some of the new products and solutions being tested & developed, including the DryGuide Plus, our developed controls on our HeatPack range and the new packaged inline gas boosters.
Sharing these updates helps everyone see how their work contributes to the wider business and gives the whole team a clearer understanding of the opportunities ahead.
We finished the day with darts at Oche, where the competition continued and a few unexpected talents were discovered.
A really good day with the team and a nice change from the usual routine.
