On September 24th, Secomak will launch a new drying machine at the PPMA show 2024. Rory Scapens, Key Account Manager, explains:

“Our new drying solution, developed from the ground up, addresses current market demands and enhances drying technology. With no part of the design featured in our previous machines, we’re set to deliver our customers energy savings, and sustainability. These innovations aim to improve drying quality and efficiency while setting new industry standards, helping our customers achieve better results and progress towards their net zero targets.”

While details remain limited, the machine promises to be a major success. We’ve listened to customers and focused on four key aspects: Efficiency, Ergonomics, Economics and drying expectations.

The new dryer will feature our latest innovation: a direct-driven version of our successful 587 Turbo blower. This 15kW centrifugal fan offers unrivalled performance and efficiency. The direct drive version is 60% smaller and virtually maintenance-free.

We’re also unveiling a significant upgrade to the 587 Turbo blowers used in our popular DryGuide machine. After years of development with SKF Bearings, we’ve redesigned the impeller and bearing housing concept for centrifugal fans. The new “Long Life Bearings” offer:

1. Increased lifespan: 45,000+ hours, with a 3-year warranty.
2. Potential for 35% faster operation, increasing air volume and pressure.
3. Reduced maintenance: sealed for life and maintenance-free.
4. Backwards compatibility with existing 587 models.

All DryGuide orders in 2024 will include Long Life bearings at no extra cost.
